Colruyt Group's Jims chain lost the data of roughly 150,000 members when an unauthorized person reached the membership management system running behind 31 of its 85 Belgian locations. The notice never names the entry point, only that one shared system sat under a third of the chain, and all of it fell together. No passwords or health data were taken, the company notes, but IBAN numbers were. A password resets. A bank account number does not.
Retail and Consumer
Data breach at Jims underestimated: 150,000 members affected
