Mogren, Glessner & Ahrens's main server was encrypted on June 9, 2026, and discovered the next day. The filing never says how the attacker got in. An IT contractor assured the firm that nothing had been exfiltrated. The firm reformatted from backup and moved on. Two months later, a hacker's email arrived with the firm's own pleadings attached, claiming 380 gigabytes taken. The reformatting the firm took based on a clean-slate recommendation also erased any way to check the claim. To Mogren, Glessner & Ahrens' credit, their detailed description of the incident is rare among government-mandated filings.
